A Letter From Our Owner
”In 1985, while working in store management for the Sherwin-Williams Paint Company, I accepted an offer to become the Center Manager at the Mr. Transmission on Highway 80 and Ellis Avenue. Ten years later, the original owner was ready to retire and offered to sell his business to me. With pride, I accepted his offered and purchased the business.”

Meet Our Owner
Jay Pond – Owner & General Manager
Mr. Pond graduated Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. He’s been happily married for over 27 years to his wife, Susan. Together they have two children: Bailey, who is currently a Registered Nurse. And Adam, who is working in Risk Management Insurance. Jay also enjoys tailgating at Mississippi State football games, being an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church with his family, bream fishing, and is a huge fan of the Canadian Prog Rock band, RUSH!
